Terms and Conditions for rental items


1. Validity

Once an offer is made, it is valid for 14 days.


2. Rental period

The rental period begins when the rented items are handed over to the client and ends when the rented items are returned. The period of the rental period will be determined in advance and stated in the contract. If the rented items are not returned within the agreed rental period, the rental agreement is automatically extended until the items are returned.

Each additional day will be charged to you in full.

3. Deposit / Booking Fee

A deposit of 50% is required to secure our services and rental items. If the order is cancelled later than 14 days after the deposit has been paid, the deposit cannot be refunded. If the rental takes place less than 30 days after the deposit has been paid, the invoice amount plus deposit is due immediately.


4. Balance Payment

The remaining amount must be paid at least 14 days before the event.


5. Liability, Warranty, Return

Please note that rented items must be returned.

The rented items are not insured. Liability is transferred to the renter as soon as he/she receives the rented items. The hirer is liable for all damage resulting from the use of the rented items during the rental period. The hirer is responsible for damage, breakage or loss.

The return takes place under reservation, since exact missing quantities can be determined only after cleaning is completed. Damaged or missing items will be charged at the purchase price of the item and deducted from the deposit that was paid by the hiree. The hirer shall be liable for claims by third parties, which the hiree may assert against the hirer due to damage, resulting from use.

Upon delivery of the rental items, the hirer must check the order for completeness and suitability. If goods with obvious transport damages are delivered, then the hiree should inform the hirer immediately via email or telephone. The hirer must immediately notify the hirer of any damage, alteration, destruction, theft or loss occurring during the rental period. Otherwise, damaged or missing rental items cannot be considered after return.

Subsequent performance shall be effected at the discretion of the lessee by repair or replacement. The lessee undertakes to set a reasonable period of grace.

In the event that an items is damaged upon delivery, the hiree can choose to hve the item repaired or replacement. A reasonable period of grace should be given for such performances.


6. Delivery and Collection

Delivery dates are only binding if they are expressly noted in the order confirmation. The rented items can be collected free of charge from our warehouse by appointment. Upon request, we will also deliver the rented items to your event and collect them again. The price is calculated according to the distance per kilometer.

Upon delivery and collection of the rented items, the hiree must ensure that he/she himself/herself, or a person authorized by him/her, can receive the goods. Upon receipt of the items, the hiree must immediately inspect the rented items and report any damage or shortfalls.

If no one is available at the agreed time, a new delivery/collection date must be agreed and the delivery attempt already made will be invoiced.

The goods must be returned in the packaging provided.


7. Cleaning

Our dishes and cutlery are not dishwasher-safe and should be cleaned by us by hand. In order to avoid damage from wearing, it is sufficient to simply rinse the dishes and cutlery with water to remove coarse leftovers. On Cloud Bloom will charge you 0,50 EUR per piece of cutlery or crockery for any cleaning costs incurred due to the removal of coarse leftovers.

Candlestick/tea light holder/vases and other decorative items must be cleaned roughly from dirt. Do not use sharp or pointed objects for this, as they will scratch. On Cloud Bloom will charge you 1,50 EUR per affected item for subsequent cleaning costs due to the removal of wax residues, dirt, etc.


8. Security Deposit

A security deposit is calculated depending on the order value. The security deposit is mandatory and will be refunded within 10 working days of the event, provided that all rental items have been returned to On Cloud Bloom complete, clean and undamaged. Please give us your bank details for a smooth process.


9. Acceptance

By paying the deposit, you accept these terms and conditions.


10. Right of revocation / cancellation

The customer can revoke his contract within 14 days after transfer of the deposit without indication of reasons by e-mail. The period begins after receipt of this instruction in text form, but not before conclusion of the contract and also not before fulfillment of our duties. The timely dispatch of the revocation is sufficient to comply with the revocation period. The revocation is to be addressed to: info@oncloudbloom.com

Revocation Consequences:

In the event of an effective revocation, the services received by both parties shall be returned. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days.
